Together with your Program Leader, you will determine which behaviors work best for you.   Many useful behaviors will be suggested.  These behaviors have already been developed from weight management programs over time and are deeply tied to the success of a participant.  Behaviors take time to become part of your own personal routine, so you’ll need to make use of your ability to “stick with it.”  Your Program Leader understands that some of the work ahead of you will be challenging.  Remember, one the most important behaviors in is your commitment.  If you stay committed to the program great changes will occur in your life!

An example of a vital behavior is simply tracking some information and recording it in a log or planner.  You will learn exactly what information to record in the first section of .  Some behaviors, such as tracking and recording, are mandatory for clients.  Additional behaviors will be presented as optional.  You will discuss them with your Program Leader and then have an opportunity to test them out to see if they help you along.  Not every suggestion will be right for you and your current situation.  However, many clients have gone back and successfully re-introduced behaviors that might have been too much of a stretch during the early part of the program.
